In continuation to our crash course that happened two weeks back, here we go with two days intense Foundation Training. Our first day was during semi finals between India and Australia. We did have 100 percent attendance:) after we started the class after an hour we asked them if they wished to watch match or learn more. To our surprise they opted to learn. We thought we would leave them early but the urge to learn more helped is teach more and more. Their observation, energy level, eagerness to learn, helped us cover 10 topics in two days:) Starting from planning, adaptability, interview grooming and filing papers to positive attitude to personal responsibility, team work, target, time management to work ethics and job retention. All were focused and we used modes like role plays, videos, story and group activity to convey the topic:) their focus was so good that out of many pics one pic cartoon one in ppt had deaf wearing ear phones and instantly they caught our mistake:) We had a student who was hard of hearing and is now staring to have night blindness. He came and told me that he has accepted all this and wants to learn more. Many such cases. A class of 150 energetic deaf taught us lot and helped us deliver our best. And made me realise again there is lots more to do! Thanks to JSS Polytechnic College for Differently abled management and Cheshire Homes India, Bangalore team for their super support. Just loved it with Suma Shastry :)

Awesome, great going.
